Case Study: Menu Design
I worked with a well-known Philadelphia restaurant to optimize and redesign their menus. For this project, I captured and preserved assets, including custom artwork and logos, from previous designers and integrated them into the new design. I removed blemishes and visual 'tics' from the design and chose new fonts that are both easier to read and in line with their brand. I worked collaboratively with the owners on the look and feel of the new menus, and when they were satisfied, I created a template menu in Microsoft Word that allows them to make menu changes on site, on the fly, rather than relying on the costly and difficult to manipulate Adobe Suite.
Key Project Takeaways:
* Saved clients time and money by transitioning them to more user-friendly software
* Preserved beloved company assets, including custom artwork and logos
* Integrated existing design elements into a more legible, functional design
* Elevated guests' experience by creating a menu that echoes the restaurant's aesthetic
